This policy explains how Yalqa (“we”) collects and uses information when you use yalqa.com or our services on WhatsApp. Yalqa is operated by ZAID ALHAWAMDEH TECHNOLOGY (Sole establishment), economic licence no. CN-6793603, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
1. Business information we list
We show information about businesses (not private individuals) that is publicly available from public sources, such as: business name and category, address and map location, the advertised phone or WhatsApp number, website, and public ratings and their count.
Any business owner or their representative can request a correction or removal of their listing by emailing hello@yalqa.com with the listing link. We review the request, check the requester’s authority, and correct or remove the listing as soon as reasonably possible.
2. Search queries and location
- We use the text of your question to answer it and show matching results, and may keep queries in aggregate to improve result quality.
- Location is entirely optional: we only ask for it when you tap “Near me” and allow it in your browser. We use it only to sort that search by distance, and we do not build a history of your movements.
- We do not sell search queries, location or any personal information to anyone, and we do not use them for advertising.
3. Information you send us
When you claim a business or contact us, we receive what you submit (such as business name, your name, the business WhatsApp number and listing link) and use it only to contact you about your request and verify ownership.
4. WhatsApp chats
If you message Yalqa on WhatsApp, messages are transmitted and processed by WhatsApp (owned by Meta) under WhatsApp’s terms and privacy policy. We use your messages only to respond to your request, and we do not send you marketing messages without your consent.
5. Cookies
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The site may use strictly necessary technical cookies (such as remembering your language).
6. Who we share information with
- Service providers we need to run the site (hosting and databases), only to the extent necessary.
- When you tap “Map”, “WhatsApp” or a business website, you go to a third-party service (such as Google Maps or WhatsApp) governed by its own policy.
- Authorities, where required by law.
7. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete information we hold about you by emailing hello@yalqa.com.
8. Children
The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
